Keeping Chino Hills Homes Safe for the Elderly Presentation
/There will be a free presentation on home safety for senior citizens and their caretakers tomorrow, August 30th from 12pm to 2pm. This is hosted by the City of Chino Hills’ Active Adults 50 program and will be held in the Chino Hills Community Center, 14250 Peyton Drive, and is open to everyone. Lunch will be served, free of charge.
The Home Instead Senior Care will share information on how to prevent home accidents for those affected by mobility or balance issues especially, and will also cater to elders that have other health impairments as well.
“Safety Starts at Home,” is a presentation created to inform the Chino Hills community how to perform a safety check in their own homes, how to identify potential risk factors for injuries and accidents, and shows examples of modifications that caretakers can easily make in the elder’s home.
