Chino Hills Road Closures
/On October 24, the SCE Project on Peyton Drive began their installation of underground conduits along Peyton Drive, digging of a trench within the existing bike lane, and restoration of the pavement. This project will continue up until November 18th, effecting the Chino Hills home residents.
The work hours include Monday-Friday from 7:00a.m. to 3:30p.m. Lane closures are prohibited before 8:00 am (9:00 am on Mondays), and after 2:00p.m. from Grand Avenue south to Eucalyptus Avenue. Closures will only occur during work hours unless unforeseen circumstances arise.
Street improvements in Chino Hills, CA consisting of pavement repair using selective asphalt grind and patch, crack seal, overlay, and slurry seal treatment on residential streets begin in other Chino Hills streets as well.
Schedules are always subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances and weather, however the City Contractor, Hardy & Harper Inc., will temporarily post “No parking” signs on two working days before the street is paved and will specify the date and time of work on the street.
Residents are advised to park their cars completely outside the neighborhood on days that Hardy & Harper, Inc. plan to pave the streets, since the cars cannot drive upon the newly-slurry sealed streets for several hours.
